Describe job requirements and tools you are required to have:

I do a full spectrum of work and need all the tools to do so.

What kind of experience do you have (training, on the job, military)? How much would recommend others have?

I have 25 yrs. In new home construction and another 10 yrs. In remodeling.

What made you decide to enter your particular field of work?

I enjoy working outdoors and working with wood.

What kind of education is required or would you suggest?

I think that on the job is the best and it normally would take about 5yrs. But that would be on new. Remodeling would take a lot longer with all the variations possible.

How long did your trade education take to accomplish? Is continuing education required?

I am still seeing things that I have not seen before. In remodeling it would never end but in new construction keeping up with codes in your area and new products would be ok.

Are there special skills one needs to enter your field of work?

Some math would help.
