Disability Resources, inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established to promote and improve awareness, availability and accessibility of information that can help people with disabilities live, learn, love, work and play independently.

Comprehensive College & Careers
The College Internship Program (CIP) is a year-round residential program which focuses on social, academic, career and life skills. For students taking an alternative or adjoined career pathway, CIP provides career counseling, employment skills class, internship/job liaison, job coaching and internship/job support groups.
CIP works hard to develop relationships with local businesses to provide a wide selection of internships opportunities to students. Generally, a students special interest is pursued in the form of an internship with the intention of obtaining a job. Examples of internships include computer repair technician, florists assistant and landscape designer.
Established in 1974, NISH is one of two national, nonprofit agencies designated by the Committee for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled [a federal government agency] to support nonprofit agencies (NPAs) participating in the AbilityOne Program which provides employment opportunities for people who are blind or have other severe disabilities by procuring Federal contracts for goods and services.
