Love the website. This is my second post, saw Mike on the Scout celibration and had to come see the site. I am Chrysler auto tech by trade. I am glad to see someone out stumping for skilled trades. I have watched Mike on dirty Jobs since I finally broke down and got a Satillite dish. I work on my Mustang in my spare time and play Paintball when I get the Chance. I have been invovled in Scouting since my son was a Cub Scout. I am proud to say the he is an Eagle Scout. My part time job is being a District Unit Commisioner with scouting and I am a leader in Troop 400 in Warrensburg MO.
Glad to be here edm P.S. edm are my initials, every forum I post on someone will ask.

Hello, I am new. I am an Eagle, Army Brat, Nebraskan, Brother, Son, Boyfriend, ect. I belive in Mikes phylisophy, why, because my dad is in the Army. Cant do a job there without getting dirty.
As well, I have my own saying. "A Scout is clean... after the camp out where running water is provided." which is often true for some of us. What else was I going to say? Oh right, let me tell you, Life is dirty. If you dont like that, you joined the wrong species... or wrong universe. Guardian, out.

Well, I guess I will ask a question or two.
1: WOW... you guys must be pretty busy. Seeing as people tend to bother TV hosts, Actors, ect. How do you find time to do this? 2: Where do I sign the "A Scout is Clean, but isnt afraid to get dirty." Petiton, and is there a Shirt I can buy? I would love to wear that around school. 3: It takes Mike up to a year to get an Envelope!? 4: Have you ever gotten the recongmentdation to go be a Summer Scout Camp Counsluar? now THAT, is a Dirty Job. And thanks, Being an Eagle isnt as easy as you would think. I know plenty that quit after getting it. I stick around the troops, help out. Have fun, get Dirty, have more fun. Work hard. Like so, 12 day trip in a bus traveling around the four conner states visiting various National Parks and Mounuments... it was cool... but VERY dirty. Do you know how much dirt is at the Grand Canyon!? o.O
