Heaven help Romney if he goes to China. I hear they eat cats there and I know they eat chicken feet. Many cultures have eating preferences that are very different from ours. I doubt Obama had much of a choice, as to what he ate as a kid. Some may think caviar is gross, which I am sure Romney has partaken of...

Good heavens -- Axelrod tweeted that photo back in January. Now it's part of some kind of "Dog Wars?"

Whatever. We'll get right on that as soon as we finish the War on Christmas that apparently we liberals are into also.

President Obama tried rally environmentalists and working-class supporters today, by bragging about his refusal to wait for Congress to implement new fuel efficiency standards.

“Change is the decision we made to stop waiting for Congress to do something about our oil addiction and finally raise fuel-efficiency standards on cars,” Obama said during a fundraiser in Detroit. “By the middle of the next decade, we will be driving American-made cars, better than ever, that get 55 miles to a gallon. That saves the typical family over $8,000 at the pump, helps the environment.”
Doesn't he realize "We the People" elect these congressmen to represent us?

Oh those cars he is talking about will cost so much more that we'll save nothing at the pump.

We the people also elect the president Kay. A lot of these congressmen are in the pockets of big corporations. The oil and gas companies for one have lobbyists who daily remind them of who funds their relection campaigns. ALEC has been brought out of the shadows as a group that pushes agendas that are more corporate friendly than people friendly.

Some congressmen are corrupt so it is okay with you if Obama governs like a dictator? What makes you think he isn't corrupt? Don't you wonder what he did with 5 trillion bucks? Oh wait we know what he did, he passed it out among his friends. We fought a war about taxation with representation, I think the next election will be about the same thing.

Sure, but there are differences between how people got there. There are those who try to do the responsible thing, but one way or another things aren't working out for them. Then there are the bat *&^% crazies who do things that make no sense. There should be a distinction.

How come only Republicans have heard about these indiscretions? If Obama was as deplorable as you say, wouldn't everyone be eager to get rid of him? Why is it that there is a very good chance of him getting re-elected?

How come when it comes to what a president does, is given the power to do by the Constitution when used by Obama he is a dictator. It is the job of the president to set policy Kay. Or is that only for Repub presidents or your Tea-ers favorites? Not sure where you get your information from Kay..........., oh wait I do, Faux Nooz. For you Obama is corrupt because........well his name is Obama and he isn't Republican and damn sure ain't a Tea Partier. There's two out of the three I mentioned that pleases me very much!

He rules by fiat. Reminds me of Hugo Chavez.

Actually I never said he was corrupt. You assumed that. I just wonder how he managed to spend 5 trillion dollars in 3 years. He has "rewarded" his friends, i.e. people who donate to him. Surely you realize that. Rather humerous, you pointing fingers at congressmen while sainting Obama.

He rules by what? An Italian sports car?

Hmm, I guess I got the idea from this of yours, Kay.......

You did use the third-person singular pronoun "he" in conjunction with the word corrupt in reference to Obama. Right?

Why should there be any distinction? Why not an expectation of personal responsibility?
