Do you find it surprising, tho, that what he's saying is the opposite of the guy he's out raising funds for? That's what makes me question why he's saying what he's saying? What is he hoping to accomplish by going against what Obama is saying? What happened to at least the semblence of a unified front for the purpose of re-election?
    Hi, debi.

Sorry. Maybe I should have gone into my comment a bit further. When I read your post above, what came to mind was substituting "Romney" for "Obama". And, instead of the "he" referring to Clinton, it referred to Donald Trump.

    like this...

It was more of a general observation in terms of someone saying the opposite of the person he's out raising funds for. Not so much a comparison between Trump and Clinton.

    Default Fine?

    •“We’ve seen layoffs, cutbacks.”
    •“When it’s all said and done I’m making $200 a month.”
•“I’ve been looking for a job for two years haven’t found any.”
•“I had to file my own personal bankruptcy and had to close my business.”
•“Here I am. No healthcare and a slashed pension.”
•“I just lost my job recently.”
•“I have to work part-time in order to make ends meet.”
    •“Sometimes I feel like I’m a failure.”

Romney is all over that "economy is doing fine" thing. As he should be.

After what Romney did to the economy in Massachusetts, he should keep quiet and think twice about criticizing the Pres..

Why, he's running against him. During Romney's term, unemployment fell in Massachusetts from 5.8 to 4.7, they had a $6B deficit and he changed that to a $700 million surplus, all that while most of his legislature were Democrats. He had a good record there, this stuff isn't going to fly.

Hey, Heather. I read your post much earlier but have had a busy weekend. All good things, but really busy.

"Do you find it surprising, tho, that what DT is saying is the opposite of the guy he's out raising funds for?" It could become surprising to me. If Trump makes an issue of their differences on the birther subject (or anything else) and his opinion becomes the distraction that Clinton's has, then, yes, I'll be surprised that someone who is supporting and raising money for Romney is making things more difficult for him. I would be wondering what he is hoping to accomplish and what happened to the idea of a unified front in order to win election. Right now, tho, no. Unless more happens I don't see Trump and the birther thing being comparable to what Clinton has intentionally done to Obama.

Over the years, Barbara Bush has impressed me for numbers of reasons. I remember when Bush 41 was in office (or running) her being asked about her stance on abortion. It was somehow known that she didn't share 41's prolife stance. She firmly declined to go into any detail on the subject. She didn't want her views to be in competition with her husbands. It wasn't about her. It was about him. This election isn't about Bill Clinton or Donald Trump. It's about Obama and Romney. If you believe in the man you are campaigning for then you should be able to leave your differing opinions out of it. It isn't even about having the same opinion on everything because that will never happen. To me, it's about supporting a person who doesn't hold values or ideology so different from yours that you feel the need to point out the differences. Pointing out the differences makes it more difficult for the one running and if you are in their corner, you will not do that to them. That's basically what I'm saying.

The thot just ocurred to me that maybe you weren't looking for an answer...only explaining what you were thinking. Oh well...lol~~

Eric Holder, please go away. Far, far away. And take Mr. & Mrs. Wonderful with you.

I have a feeling it's only a matter of time before Holder is gone. He is a continual thorn in Obama's flesh with this F and F scr#w up. I don't think Obama can afford to keep him on, especially with the way other things are going for him in this election year.

I'm not so sure Debi, I don't think the W.H. has any idea how fed up people are with him, I about fell over when I heard Holder appointed 2 attorneys from Obama's administration to investigate the Obama administration for leaks. That's like hiring the fox to investigate a break in at the hen house. I think they really think we're clueless out here.
