Well darn, does this mean any interpretation of humor can be considered all of the above?
Also just a suggestion from a oldies forum dude...don't get to finger happy on the trigger, you will ultimately loose alot of members, especially when starting out! Learn to differentiate between humor and snide remarks!
Just one more suggestion: You should allow visitors/guests to the forum...keep the posting to registered only but allow the public to view the product...most forum users like to view a board before they decide to join...just saying!

Thank you ModCharlie. I for one will abide by the rules. Unfortunately as most forums go, I'm afraid your words will fall upon deaf ears and blind eyes.

What one person may think is humor may be another's version of a cutting or derogatory remark. I will do my best not to do this. I realize that there will be other people beside fans of Dirty Jobs and Mike Rowe visiting this site. Some may be professionals and owners of large companies. The last thing I would want is to have mikeroweWORKS look bad to these people.

Thank you very much for your words of advice.

Well W.J.H I do believe you missed my point...Have you ever been a mod or admin or owned a board?...I do and I was a business person after retiring from Federal service..what I looked for in employees was a sense of humor..yes some have a lousy sense of humor and use foul language...on this I would agree with you...groveling was also a no no when looking at prospective employees...just saying!

I had all this stuff typed out to say and the system logged me out...I give up on fully stating my point.
Just one quick thing though... I thought this forum and website was created to "buck the system" so to speak and change the view of work in our society. That alone will anger some people. You know, people are going to be offended no matter what you say and/or how you say it. Do not tread so lightly that you are never heard.
If I appear to be confused...feel free to set me straight.

Thanks for all you do, Marla

Overall, great board and you're Moderation powers so far have been super, even though a meteorite of Kryptonite has passed by now and (most likely) again.
I think a Super Mod needs a Super Model. I don't know what that means.

Seriously, to all the people who now spend their time in this place making sure we play nice, thanks. It's a Dirty Job and YOU get to do it.
    We have openings.

umm... are you bribing the mods with stick women?

It's not a very good bribe...

I, on the other hand, have cookies.
