Well, I would if I had a bike......

Doesn't your industry slow down when the winter season ends? I know you are still teaching and what-not, but in general, doesn't the body repair shops slow down? I used to work in the rental car industry and we would get all excited for snowy roads as it puts people into rentals while they get their cars repaired.

True, it does slow down, but it's a trade-off with severity. Nice weather=faster driving=increased severity=more totals=increased car sales...one business or another benifits!

Ok, seriously, this snow in Wisconsin can stop now! It's suppose to be the first day of Spring tomorrow and we have so much snow on the ground (with more that fell yesterday) and the temp will only be in the 20's today. Really???? If we can't get on some of these roofs soon, it's going to be extremely hurtful! Ugh..........

Sal, I imagine in your business that winter can really put a chinck in th profits, huh? What does a roofing company in the upper midwest do in the winter...besides going to conferences in Florida and New Orleans???

LOL! Yes, there are the conferences in the winter but once upon a time new construction used to flourish in these parts. Imagine that! These days we limp along with snow removal and leaks when the sun melts the snow. It's sad, sad times my friend..........Ha! Spring can't come soon enough.

For the first time in a long time.....we are all caught up! Should last about a day or two. Working 6AM to 2:30PM it nice for time off, bad for the wallet! That's why we make hay in the sunshine!
