This was excellent! It’s amazing that some people still do not understand what is happening and what we need to do to fix it. And to me it’s pretty simple! The best way to start is for people to change the way they think! Enough excuses, enough complaining, enough sob stories, enough whining and “woe is me.” No more talk about how unfair life is for a fifteen year old that works at McDonald’s for 8/hr. No more making victims out of people who don’t have a job. Enough making victims of people who do have a job! We all need to buck up or shut up. Pull up our boot straps and get to work! This entitlement mentality needs to GO.
Mike, you made more sense about the economy effecting JOBS. My consulting has processed Career Profiles for over 8300 Exec’s > Mgr’s > Employees > Students and Pro’s during tghe last 41 years. Our Handwriting Pro’s offer options and Suggestions.
Some found the All American Dream >> Owning their Own Business and Enterprise during recessions ad economies that we are facing. the potentials of Networking without interfering with JOBS is becoming more attractive. PMC would welcome sharing a wealth of expertise responding to opportunities. Again, we really applaud Mike for his services and hope the alternative will appeal to folks.
Knowledge is powerful.
We need to think a little more like Uncle Sam and a little less like Wall Street and we might be able to recruit a new attitude toward the every pay day man. Supply and demand, it’s the capitalist way. We have the supply and we have the demand, now it’s time for the salesman to sell. If local talent can drive a telethon then why can’t Labor Day be the vehicle for the commuters who are in search of a job. Yes, I am suggesting a Labor Day Work-A-Thon. Call in your info and talk to the stars. Connect with an employer and earn your family vacation. Where we end up with an Uncle Buck and not just a summer rental. Why not?
