Mike Rowe earlier in the day received the honor of Distinguished Eagle Scout  and then spoke  to attendees at the 2012 Boy Scouts of America National Annual Meeting.

    2. Both my Eagle Scouts have Mike’s letter and have framed them. The letter from the President of the United States did NOT impress them nearly as much. They both say that they would like to meet Mike more than any other celebrity. His values really struck a chord with them and they continue to be involved in Scouting to this day.
