Mike speaks to the crowd of Makers, Innovators and Tinkerers on the Tesla Stage in the Fiesta Hall at today’s Maker Faire in San Mateo. He even goes so far as to get in a Faraday Cage to announce a new TV show featuring TechShop!

Here’s some shots of Mike walking around visiting and talking with various Makers. What have we got here? Well, there’s a jet-pack simulator, an iPad reader and a surprising young girl who invented a better walking stick for her Grandma.

We loved meeting Mike. He asked good questions of our advanced optics engineers (mvslabs.com), and he’s clearly among the smartest TV personalities on the globe. He’s making the blow-dried brains at other programs look kinda…y’know, blow-dried. Hope everyone had a chance to watch his Senate committee testimony. Compelling, and in plain English too. Nicely done.
The fair(e?) was amazing. TechShop is an awesome concept and I particularly enjoyed your cage dance, Mike. Electrifying!
I like the idea of a better walking stick. I was just thinking about that for my Dad. He’s getting a bit wobbly.
