In preparation for delivering the most famous words in auto sports for the last race of the Chase 2009 on November 22, 2009, Grand Marshal Mike was escorted around by Kate Jackson, producer for ESPN sports. He got a tour of the track, pit road and had the pleasure of getting a ride (a very fast ride) around the 1.5 mile oval by none other than the guy who won the Inaugural Race at the same track for the Busch/Nationwide Series on November 5, 1995. That’d be the famous NASCAR driver and current announcer for ESPN, the one and only Dale Jarrett.
We took some Behind the Behind the Scenes footage (yep, you read that right) over that weekend and HERE’S one of our favorites.

You were very, very, very brave, Mike. I could hardly even see the sweat but then again, you have often ridden with Barsky….
Love it! White knuckles Mike?
Cool clip! And funny how the driver was just driving and talking, while Mike was just trying to hold on. Hope there will be more clips!
