The Marine Trades Association of New Jersey (MTA/NJ) Foundation was established to help promote boating safety and education and to raise funds for Education Scholarships. The Foundation encourages education and professional development in the marine trades field.
This is the fifth year that the Association has been able to award scholarships to deserving students. The MTA/NJ was able to once again double the amount of the scholarship thanks to a $1,500 scholarship award from the Marine Retailers Association of America (MRAA) Education Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation, that was founded in 2004 to provide financial support for education, training and professional development in the recreational marine trades.
