    1. My little brother was one of the scout that was there for this. It was a huge part of his trip to see mike. Thank you for being there and stepping into the shoes usually filled by our president. You had a big effect on those boys

    2. Mike actually starts at 3:08:00, or shortly thereafter.

Mike is, as always, a great speaker who inspires, keeps the audience attentive alert and interested. I made it to the 1993, 1997, and 2005 National Jamborees. Wish I could have made this one too!

    3. Mike,
Saw the Viva Commercial today with Mom and Dad (LOL) and had to write… My husband and I ran into you recently at the Beach Tree on a company business trip (President’s Club!) and were glad to see you taking the time to relax and unwind from your Dirty Jobs. Both my husband, Dennis, and our son, David, are Eagle Scouts. We have another son, Carson 17, who has all the requirements and does not want to complete the Eagle Project. Any words of wisdom? P.S. It is our prayer that you someday have the ultimate “dirty job” – parenting!
      Thanks for all you do,

    4. Very inspiring speech, it gave me a better understanding of your dirty history. I would like to have seen a reference when you start talking. I would say around 3:16:00? I enjoyed the rest of the recorded livestream nonetheless.

    5. Thanks Mike for an AMAZING & INSPIRING speech. We watched it during the live broadcast and have watched many times with our son, now Tenderfoot and going full tilt towards EAGLE!

    6. Mike, I wanted to thank you for coming to the Jamboree. You made my Son’s day. It’s great to see men of your position and character take the time to talk to the future leaders of tomorrow!

    8. Phenomenal! As a proud Eagle Scout, I am excited by Mike’s words. He has a message and it needs to be sung from the mountain tops! As a civilian commercial diver, I say right on! As a U.S. Navy Diver Candidate, I say HOO-YAY! As an Eagle Scout and Boy Scout Supporter, I say Well Done!

    10. Mike, I really enjoyed you coming to the Jamboree. I watch your show a lot and I’m with you all the way with the clean stuff. I’m from troup 4009 in Anniston, Alabama. We have plenty of good dirty jobs for you in Alabama. At the Jamboree I was in troup 1804 and we were pretty much right in front of you and my friends and I really enjoyed your vist and talk. I also want to thank you for coming and I hope you had a very good time.

      Your friend in Scouting,
