Your speech at the BSA 2010 Shining Light was fantastic and could not have come at a more appropriate time for my son. To say the least he does not “enjoy” heights and had already backed down from rappeling once during the Jamboree. He called me once they got back to camp and said that he was going to give it another try! They only have today left at the Jambo…so we’ll see, but no matter what you inspired my 12 year old to go outside his comfort zone, so for that I am thankful.

First picture I’ve seen of my son all week and it’s with my favorite tv personality. Love you Mike, you’re a down to earth hero. But not as much as I love the second young scout on the right.
