Basic Skill Requirements For Entry Level Workers
Most Employers Will Require The Following Basic Requirements For Entry Level Positions
- High School Diploma
- Technical Wind Turbine Technician Degree From Accredited School preferred.
- No Drug or Alcohol Abuse-Testing Required.
- Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance, repair and trouble shooting experience preferred.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Computer literate
- Proficient math, reading and writing skills.
- Ability to read and interpret complex instructions & diagrams.
- Safety certifications, especially regarding working at heights.

Oh yes, drug testing will be required along with a drivers license printout, OSHA 10 certification, rescue training cert and CPR/lifesaving cert. The 3 certs should be part of any Wind Technician course you attend. Good Luck
