Who’s gonna clean up this mess? We made it, we’ve lived with it and now what – we want to ignore it? Nah uh – doesn’t work like that and thank goodness there’s people like Chad Pregracke. Somebody’s Gotta Do It.

Thanks for what you folks are doing! The Mississippi River winds through some of the most beautiful country and the most beautiful literature we have. It is only right that the river should be as pristine as it was before we came.
Please everyone — keep your tetanus shots updated.
Where do they put it all…..Landfills?
Mike, thanks for spotlighting this story. Kudos to the crew for their hard work and dedication! Hopefully, this will spur on others to follow in their footsteps….
Way to go Chad and crew. I love and appreicate the work and efforts of you and your crew.
Where I live we have 1 day a year where volunteers come and clean/pick up trash found in our river. From what I hear it’s been a big success.

The students and I watched this clip and we wanted to know what he did with the items that he picks up? We also were interested in knowing how this awesome project is funded. Keep up the inspiring work!
Chad and crew,
What an awesome job you are doing. It takes special people to handle a job like that. Thanks for doing more than your part to keep America beautiful. I will spread the word !
Hey Mike,
How do we contribute to this amazing young man and his crew?
Is there a web site that we can send financial contributions to?
When you air these wonderful stories, make sure you remember to put a way we can all help inthem too !!
Keep up the good work!!
As someone who used to fish and swim on the Great Mississippi during my summers in Savanna, ILL., this disabled veteran greatly appreciates everyone’s hard work. You are also part of an elite group that fights to keep our land and river’s free of trash.
God Bless all of you!
Ronbo
Great job Chad ,but how do you pay for what you do, does the trash recycled pay for expenses of the endeavor?
Inspiring story. I hope there is a follow-up that details your fund raising efforts. Mike is right. This should be a program on Discovery. Best of luck and THANK YOU!
Good to see that the pilot, “River Warriors”, is going to air on Discovery Thursday, June 10th. Great job and keep up the good work. This country needs more people like you. Thank you.
I enjoyed the show, River Warriors, last night, and reading about the work Chad is doing.
I thank them for their work, and Mike, Pilgrim Films and Discovery, for supporting this effort. Karen
