Pay Dirt Farm School is a non-profit educational program offering farm apprenticeships. The Pay Dirt program provides practical experience for students and introduces them to the operations of organic farming.
The school’s mission is to cultivate organic farmers and eaters. Apprentices plant, grow, harvest, market and preserve wholesome food. The students learn to repair equipment, build fencing, mend clothes on a treadle sewing machine and build a house or a barn – these are just a few of the skills the apprentices can aquire.
